Pokhara Valley is located in the lap of the mighty Himalayan range where we can have nature tours as well as thrilling activities like Paragliding. The tour of pristine Lakes, vibrant temples, and mysterious caves provide an opportunity to explore this beautiful Valley.  The largest butterfly museum in a South-East Asian country located in Pokhara showcases several species of butterfly in the museum. In the meantime, International Mountaineering Museum is a popular destination for tourists to observe and understand the lifestyle of the Himalayan indigenous people. Not only that, you can observe the types of equipment and climbing gear of mountaineers. The interesting part is seventeen minutes long documentary show which covers the footage of Mount Everest climbing and its surroundings. 

Let's start with adventure sports Paragliding. Would you like to imagine the rush of adrenaline during your glide in the sky of Pokhara holding in a Paraglider viewing breathtaking views of the Majestic Mountain range of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri? These days Paragliders glide from the top of Pame village which is the upper corner of pristine Lake Phewa. All companies provide you with experience pilots who will guide you in the air, allowing you to feel the freedom of flight and perceive the beauty of Pokhara Valley.

Another interesting tour is boating in Phewa Lake and hiking forty-five minutes to World Peace Stupa. The Japanese Stupa is marvelous to visit spiritually and naturally. Through this Peace Stupa, a splendid mountain range of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and many other mountains can view. You can attend meditation sessions in Peace Stupa. 

Pokhara is well suited for cycling tours too. Around Pokhara Valley, a mountain bike tour is interesting to do. You can ride around all Lakes of Pokhara Valley. You can start from Phewa Lake to Begnas Lake and Rupa Lake.  After breakfast, you can start your bike journey to Rupa Lake and visit around Rupa Lake and then ride back to Begnas Lake where you can boat in the lake by viewing Mount Fishtail and other mountains. 

Pokhara Valley has numerous adventure activities and touring spots where you can chill for a number of days. Pokhara is also a starting point for popular trekking like Annapurna base camp, Ghorepani Poon hill trekking, and Mustang Muktinath tour.
