Description
Bardiya national park was declared a national reserve in 1976 and covers an area of 968 sq.km. It is located in the mid-western region and it is 585km far from capital Kathmandu. The park comprises of 30% grassland and 70% Sal forest and has a large number of deer species like Chital, Hog deer, Barasingha, Swamp deer, etc. Other animals such as Antelope, blue bull, Langur Monkey, Sloth beer etc. are found in the jungle and the park contains eight types of ecosystem. The park headquarters are situated at Thakurdwara and is surrounded by idyllic villages and fields inhabited by an indigenous ethnic group, the Tharu. But the major attraction of this jungle is Bengal Tiger and Rhinoceros. One can see rarer and beautiful animal tiger in their natural habitat during jungle safari. The Babai river runs along to the south of the park while Shivalik Hills adorn to its northern extremes. Gharial and freshwater dolphin can be seen nearby the Karnali, Girwa and Babai river. This tour enables you to watch 250 species of birds and 30 species of mammals in their natural habitat. A less crowded and unexplored park in the inner terai of Nepal.

One of our Office representative will receive you and assist you to transfer to hotel. In the evening, we will have welcome Dinner with Nepali cultural show.
Kathmandu valley is the capital city of Nepal and is the first touristic destination for any visitors. It offers the most famous touristic spots listed under the world heritage site such as Swoyambhunath, Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, Kathmandu durbar square and many other temples that give an incredible experience. Kathmandu, the capital city stands at an elevation of 1400 meters and is considered to be the center of Nepal’s history, art and culture. Seven out of ten UNESCO world heritage site lies in the Kathmandu valley. The visitors not only explore the three towns in the valley i.e. Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur but also visit other adjacent places in the city. Tour can be started with visiting UNESCO world heritage site to delightful adjacent towns. Sightseeing at Nagarkot, visiting temples such as Changunarayan, Budhanilkantha, Dakshinkali etc. can also be done during the half day of the tour. Among these locations, only three places can visit in a day, so we give choice to guest to select three of them.
We will be in the domestic terminal in the morning to fly Nepalgunj before 1 hour to board. The flight is usually 40 -45 minutes. After one-hour drive from Nepalgunj, we reach to Bardiya district headquarter where we have hotels and resorts. We transferred to resorts and freshen up and relax. We will have briefing during lunch about jungle Safari. In the evening, we stroll around Gulariya Bazar. In the evening there will be Tharu culture show.
We classify the activities into three sections: Early morning we do Elephant riding for one hour. Then back to hotel and have breakfast and freshen up. Now we go for jungle safari in jeep, and we packed lunch in our jeep. We park jeep few meters far from tower and natural pond where wild animals and tiger come to drink water. In pin drop silence, we observe and wait for animals’ movement. You can also take a moment to capture photographs. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Again, we reach to Kathmandu and transferred to hotel. In the day time relax and free time for shopping.
