Located at an altitude of 3710 meters at the foot of Himalayas is Muktinath. It is located at 48km north east of Jomsom. Muktinath is known to be a sacred place for both Hindus and Buddhist. This package offers visitors travel a trip from Jomsom to Muktinath temple. Muktinath lies 13000 above the sea level in Mustang district and known to be Mukti chettra. During this tour, you will be taken to small pagoda style temple known as lord god Vishnu which is worshipped by both Hindu and Buddhist. Lot of devotees visits this temple especially during the festival of Janai Purnima. There are 108 water sprouts spread following cold icy waters for prayers who desire to take a quick bath for their benefit. There is also a temple named Jwala mai or the goddess of flame with phenomenal underground blue flame.

Way to Jomsom Muktinath

The Jomsom Muktinath trip can be started in a private vehicle from Kathmandu valley following Nepalese scenery, villages, charmed waterfalls, verdant overgrown forests, and sterile serene elevation of Himalayas. Tour continues passing several small and large settlements and reach heavenly city of Pokhara. After exploring Pokhara a bit, trip continues to Jomsom then Muktinath.

Nepal entry visa: you can obtain a visa easily upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. (a multiple-entry tourist visa good for 30 days can be obtained by paying US $ 40 or equivalent foreign currency. Similarly, multiple-entry tourist visas for 90 days can be obtained by paying US $ 100. Please bring 2 copies of passport-size photos.)

Itinerary

When you arrive at the airport then transfer to the hotel by one of the representatives from the agency. Evening, there will be Welcome Dinner with Nepali Cultural show.

Early morning, we drive to Pokhara and it takes 6 hours’ drive to reach Pokhara. Enjoy the terraces, mountain views during drive to Pokhara. After check in to the hotel, we go for lakeside walking to see Fewa lake and mighty peak Machhapuchhare shadow in the lake. Enjoy evening in Pokhara and have dinner in the hotel.

Early morning breakfast and then transfer to airport to fly Jomsom. The flight time is only 20 minutes from Pokhara airport to Jomsom. Then Drive to Muktinath for 3 and half hour. Observe Muktinath temple and surroundings. Capture memorable moments around Muktinath temple. Then drive back to Jomsom. Stay at hotel to night.

After early morning breakfast, you will fly for Pokhara. Then transfer to hotel and freshen up. Afternoon Pokhara city sightseeing. World peace stupa, Davis fall, Gupteswor cave, and other interesting places of city will be covered along with boating in Fewa lake. Or even one can join paragliding in the afternoon.

Enjoy terraces and mountain views while going to Kathmandu. Evening enjoy Farewell dinner with cultural show.

Finally, you are transferred to airport for boarding before 2-3 hours before your flight.
