Description
Nepal has various landscapes from high mountains to lush valleys, hills, and vast green forests. And these forests are the natural habitat for many endangered species of birds and animals that are protected under the law. Likewise, Chitwan National Park is one of the protected areas in Nepal and is considered to be one of the top destinations for natural retreat and wildlife tours.
This tour begins with touring beautiful Kathmandu valley rich in architecture and culture and ancient Hindu and Buddhist relics. Then a drive of 5 hours is taken to reach Chitwan National Park which is the main highlight of this tour where one can explore to many natural beauties from endangered species of birds and animals to a laidback safari ride.
Itinerary
You have to wake up early in the morning and after having your breakfast you will head towards the Trishuli. It takes 3-4 hrs to reach there. Once you reach the point Fishling, you will have the briefing about the safety measure and guidelines about the rafting. Thenafter, you will begin your rafting for about 4 hours. You will have a short lunch break in between too. After you complete your rafting you can head back to Kathmandu or make trip towards Pokhara, Chitwan or Lumbini.
On the first day you can start the trip towards the Trishuli in the day time after your lunch . It takes 3-4 hrs to reach there. You can set the camp in the riverside. That will be included in your trip. You can spend the overnight in the camp or book the hotel at riverside.
On the Day 2 from the point Fishling, you will meet the person who will give the briefing about the safety measure and guidelines about the rafting. Thenafter, you will begin your rafting for about 4 hours. You will have a short lunch break ni between too. After you complete your rafting you can head back to Kathmandu or make trip towards Pokhara, Chitwan or Lumbini.
Early morning breakfast, and you will take a 6hours drive to Chitwan. Once you reach to Chitwan you are warmly welcomed by the hotel staff where you will be briefed about the activities further. This day can be just spent on enjoying the beauty of the hotel/resort and its surrounding as there is a next day available for Chitwan safari. An overnight stay at hotel with dinner.
After having the early morning breakfast, the day can be started with elephant safari which is the best ways to spot wildlife close up. Jeep safari is another alternative that gives you a pleasure of seeing animals closely and take pictures. Likewise, you can also go for a canoe ride that shows you crocodiles in the water and bird watching. There is always an experienced guide with during the entire tour. The touring completes in the afternoon or nearly evening time when you can return back to the hotel and an overnight stay at the hotel.
Early morning breakfast and you will be returned to Kathmandu by 6 hours drive almost. The rest of the day can be spent relaxing and roaming local streets in the valley. Once again an overnight stay at the hotel.
Early morning wake up and breakfast. Then if you have an early flight then reach the airport early otherwise the free time can be enjoyed shopping before the scheduled flight of departure.
