Pokalde Adventure Tours & Travel Pvt. Ltd. is a tour operator from Nepal offering several tour packages to our valued guests. We are a tour operator working in Nepal primarily and other neighboring countries like Tibet, Bhutan, Sikkim, Darjeeling, and India. Our tour packages range from luxurious to adventurous tours full of activities that include scenic mountain views suitable for families, pilgrimage tours, heritage tours, adventure tours, and educational tours. We are dedicated to serving you the best available services in Nepal. The following terms and conditions are our primary guidelines for accepting you as our valued customer.

Booking & Payment Option

The foremost essentials while designing and planning your trip, we need a photocopy of your passport and 25% of the total amount, which is a non-refundable booking deposit, is required for every trip booking per person. The rest of the payment must be paid upon arrival at our office.

Bank service charges should be paid by the clients themselves at the time of deposit.

In addition, clients can make a payment by credit card. Please click here and fill out the form. For the payment by credit card, we only accept Master Card and Visa Card, and 4% extra fee will be paid by the clients themselves as a card processing fee.
Similarly, you can pay by Western Union Money Transfer or via MoneyGram.

Risk & Liabilities

Our major focus is to arrange your travel comfort and smooth. We give our 100 percent to make your journey a lifetime memory. Pokalde Adventure will provide all the services as mentioned in the itinerary and the agreement between you and us at the time of booking. However, in the Himalayan region of Nepal, India, Tibet, and Bhutan, tours are operated strictly under their policies and the Tourism Authority. We shall not be responsible for any change or cancellation of programs due to unavoidable circumstances such as Government restrictions, landslides, road blockages, floods, avalanches, political unrest, cancellation of flights, delays, sickness or accidents, breakdown of the vehicle, or any extra costs incurred will be borne by the clients on the spot. So, it is most advisable that clients have full insurance against medical and personal accident risk.

Cancellation Policy:
If our clients fail to make their trip or want to cancel their program due to any unavoidable circumstances following charges will be made for the Trip cancellation. The 25% trip booking amount is fully non-refundable once it is paid by clients during the trip booking. We settled the final payment before the start of the trip in our office, then after no refund will be made.

Program Change/Delay:
The program schedule/itinerary can change without prior notice if unavoidable circumstances occur, which are beyond our control, like weather hazards, Landslides, political unrest, road blockage, avalanches, sudden sickness, etc. The program can be customized as per the interest of the clients, and if we cancel your trip due to unavoidable circumstances like war, natural disasters, political unrest, bad climate, etc., we would be happy to refer you to an alternative trip of a similar standard or refund your money.

Passport and Visas:
All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months’ validity from the return date. Nepalese visas can be obtained from the Nepalese Consulate in your country or upon arrival in Kathmandu Airport. A Nepalese visa is USD 25 for 15 days and USD 40 for 30 days to date.

Travel Insurance:
Our clients must have a comprehensive travel insurance package. Their insurance must cover against medical, personal accident, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, loss of gear and natural calamity, theft, or damage to baggage and personal effects, etc.

Flight delay:
Flight by plane and helicopter are prone to cancellations and delays for notorious weather in remote areas and most of the time climate is major factor of operational complications which could be happened in Everest region Lukla flight, Annapurna region Jomsom flight, Dolpa, Simikot and Jumla region etc.

(Most of the Time Mountain flights are delayed without letting know us, the flight is normally 6:30 am in the mooring and you have to be airport at 6:am but most of the time they delayed more than hour, if we go late they put the Second flight passengers on 6:30 am so, we need to be there at the flight time, be prepared for this)

When these flights are considered in the itinerary, it is also recommended to carry extra money to buy food and accommodations in case of delays. We will not be responsible for these additional expenses or costs incurred from lost connections, so plan accordingly.

Trekking in the remote areas or in as described above, especially during odd off-season, you’re highly advised to reserve extra days to prepare for some delays and avoid frustrating consequences. In case of delay in flight prior to trek departure or at the end of the trek, you need to meet your accommodation, food costs by yourself.
