Kailash Mansarovar Overland Tour

After breakfast we drive to Nepal Border Kerung via Trisuli Bazar. We will experience beautiful paddy fields, hilly village with small shops and Manaslu, Ganesh Himal and langtang Himal range. With essentials paperworks we cross the Nepal China Border to reach Kerung. Overnight stay at hotel.

Today, we do short hiking around the valley so that we are able to adjust our body with the Himalayan environment. We take rest in the afternoon. We will have Tibetan lunch cooked by our cooking team. Overnight stay at lodge.

In the morning, we can enjoy the magnificent view of the Himalayan range during sunrise, if weather permits; then As we head to saga, you can view the world’s 14th highest peak Mt. Shishapangma (8012m), and Turquoise Lake Peiku tso(4590m). Overnight stay at lodge.

We have already gain high elevation, so strict precautions and guide is mandatory. While driving to Darchen, we will have magnificent view of the Saga valley between Gangdise Range and Himayala Range. Meanwhile, the yak pastureland and beautiful villages can also be seen. As we cross the Mayomla Pass(5112M), you can enjoy the spectacular vista of Mt. Naimonanyi(7694M). Then we are supposed to pass by the holy Lake Mansarover and finally arrive at the southern foot of Mt.Kailash, the holy mountain in Tibet.

We drive to Sarshung valley in the morning. Then we will meet Yak-herds and porters at Sarshung village. Even we can use horse, yak during trekking from Sarshung to Drirapuk Monastery along the Lachu valley and rivers. We can enjoy the both west and north face of mountain Kailash today. Finally, we will visit Drirapuk Monastery.

Today, we will trek over Dromala pass(5630m), the highest pass of the Kora. On the way we can have a rest in a teahouse. All the way, we can see locals Tibetans prostrating in the Kora path and beautiful Kadoe Lake while descending downhill. We may also visit Zutulpuk Monastery. Stay overnight in lodge/guest house

On the third of the kora. we will trek 7km to Zongto where we can take bus to Darchen. Along the Kora, we can see piles of Mani Stones. We will end the Trek around noon, rest in the lodging place.

Drive from Darchen to Saga via Lake Mansorovar. We can take holy bath in Mansarovar lake or even we can have hot spring bath and can enjoy the natural hot spa in the Himalayas. Overnight stay at hotel/lodge.

Drive from Saga to Nepal Border Kerung. Rest at hotel in Kerung.

After formal procedure finished in the Nepal-China Border, we drive to Kathmandu via Rashugadi. We will have lunch in Dhunche which is gateway to trek Langtang valley of Nepal. We reach Kathmandu in the evening and rest at hotel.

After breakfast, tour can be begun with sightseeing world heritage sites within Kathmandu. Kathmandu is known for its rich art, culture and architecture. Malla dynasty ruled over the country from 12th to 18th century. While Pashupatinath is known to be the religious Hindu temple and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The Bouddhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupas in South Asia which is built on the ancient trade route to Tibet.

From Thamel we can go for morning walk for half an hour walk to reach Swoyambhunath temple. We can experience sunrise and city of Kathmandu from Swoyambhu hill. Back to hotel and take bath and freshen up. We drive for Bhaktapur Durbar square after finishing breakfast. Explore the artistic city Bhaktapur and its surrounding temples Changunarayan and Doleswor Mahadev.

After breakfast, we drive to South-West of Kathmandu City to reach Chandragiri Cable Car to enjoy cable car and visit Bhaleswor Mahadev. We can view splendid Himalayan range in clear day from the hill of Chandragiri.
