Panauti is the historical city of Nepal that nestles 36km southeast from Kathmandu. This place is inhabitants by Newari people and is an important pilgrimage place for Hindus. In every 12 years a festival is celebrated at the confluence of three rivers where inhabitants  takes a holy bath. In the northern part of Panauti two rivers Roshi and Panauti confluence and the third river Punyamati which comes across the temple makes a confluence. the site is popular for Hindus.
