Upper Mustang Helicopter Tour

Description

The forbidden Kingdom of Nepal— Mustang located in the north of Annapurna and Dhaulagir Himal which is one of the traditional Tibetean culture exist till date. The lower Mustang is open for everyone to travel but Upper Mustang was restricted before 1992. At present, travelers can travel to this area by getting a special permit. For each USD 500 is charged to get permit to visit Upper Mustang. At least, one week is required to process for permit including the permits of Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP). 

A helicopter tour to Upper Mustang is a very exciting and mesmerizing trip where you will see the splendid Himalayan range of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. The deepest Kali Gandaki gorges, mountain terrain, rivers, rhododendron forests and barren hills of Mustang, natural caves are main attractions of Helicopter tour. This tour starts from Kathmandu airport and lands in Pokhara airport for refueling or can land at Jomsom airport for refueling and for verification purpose also. It is mandatory that we must verify in Jomsom airport.

Lo-Manthang is capital of Mustang which gives the impression of Tibetean culture in Mustang. During our stay at Lo-Manthang, we explored the Royal palace, Monastery, and many more historic places. We will capture lifelong memories and return back to Kathmandu or we can even stay in Pokhara valley to explore the beautiful city.
