Description
Chandragiri situated at 2551meters from the sea level has been destined to be one of the newest destinations for everyone. The hill lies 14 km away and to the south-west of the Kathmandu valley. Chandragiri is truly an unspoiled landscape from where anyone can have a breathtaking view of beautiful Kathmandu valley with lush green flora. Various mountains such as Manasalu, Langtang, Ganesh Himal etc. can be viewed from the top of Chandragiri Hill. While Chitlang is situated 27 km away from Kathmandu and is unique destination for any visitors and can reach by a drive from Kathmandu. This village is a huge settlement of Newar community and is rich in geographical diversity, flora and fauna, natural scenic beauty etc.
Itinerary
Upon the arrival at Kathmandu airport you will be greeted and welcomed by the tour representative and will escort you to the hotel. You will definitely have time to relax after tiredly journey after briefing about the further activities. Then you will head to Chandragiri Hill in a private transportation within an hour time from Kathmandu where you will have chance to explore from natural beauty to flora, beautiful Himalayan ranges etc from the top hill part. After exploring you will be back to the hotel by the late evening where you will be served with delicious dinner in a Nepalese cultural environment. An overnight stay at the hotel.
Early morning breakfast, you will be driven to chitlang that is 27km away from Kathmandu and takes almost 4hours by high road and 1 and half hour from the newly built short cut road through Thankot. Once you are arrived at chitlang you will explore its natural beauty and surroundings. You also will have an insight of local residents there. After fully exploring the village, you will return back to Kathmandu hotel where you will spend an overnight again.
Early morning wake up and separate little time to explore Kathmandu city be it by shopping or other recreational activities before final departure from Kathmandu.
