Gosaikunda Helicopter Tour

Langtang region is considered as paradise on earth. Kyanjin Gompa, Langtang Valley, Helambuand Gosaikunda are famous and sacred places for both Hindu and Buddhist. The significant importance of Gosaikunda can be observed and experienced during Janai Purnima festival. A large number of people visit lake and bath in sacred lake to get salvation and blessings. Around Gosaikunda, there are altogether 108 lakes. From Helicopter flight, you may see the beauty of these lakes, rivers, peaks and forest.

Gosaikunda is sacred place for both Hindu and Buddhist. It is religious site for hindu and buddhist. During summer and Rainy season, a large number of pilgrims visit to worship Lord Shiva. It is believed that in ancient time during Samundra manthan lord Shiva drink poison to save this earth and people. It is believed that  Lord Shiva has created this lake by striking his trident into the mountain rock to give relief to his blazing throat due to toxicity of poison. 

The lake is located in Rasuwa district, Langtang National Park at an elevation of 4380m. Almost half of the year, lake remains frozen even though we can have helicopter flight to visit frozen lake and witness of yak caravan moving from lake. Around Gosaikunda, Suryakunda, Bhairabkunda and many others lake can be visited. The stunning Himalayan range of Langtang Himal and many others peak can be seen during our tour to Gosaikunda.

Gosaikunda tour is one and half hour long tour including two way flight from Kathmandu to Gosaikunda and vice -versa and 30 minutes lake exploration time. It is one of the shortest tour by helicopter from Kathmandu. Helicopter flight is more exciting and wonderful during spring season.
