Annapurna Base Camp Helicopter Tour

Annapurna Base Camp is one of the highly visited regions in Nepal by tourists regularly. Annapurna range is surrounded by a circle of mountains considered as bowl and known as Annapurna Sanctuary which is high glacial basin lying 40km directly north of Pokhara. Most of the peaks are above 7000m above. Because of the high Himalayas in all sides Annapurna sanctuary receives 7 hours sunlight in a day. A week-long trek is needed to reach Annapurna Base Camp. If you wish, within an hour you are able to enjoy the beauty of Annapurna Region by landing in Helicopter at Base Camp (4100m approx.). The mesmerizing Annapurna range includes Annapurna I (8091 m), Annapurna II (7937 m), Dhaulagiri (8167 m), Fishtail (6993 m), Annapurna Base Camp (4130 m) and many more other peaks.

During our flight, we can view the stunning mountain ranges and beautiful landscapes of rural villages. Mainly Gurungs are the permanent resident of this area including chhetri, Bhramin, Thakali and so on. One can enjoy the Gurung culture and experience the challenges of this area during Annapurna Base camp trekking but those who are unable to do trekking for a week, 

Pokalde Adventure offers Helicopter tour to Annapurna Base Camp. The same thrill and experience will be felt whenever you complete the tour. This tour starts from Pokhara airport and ends in Pokhara. The tour will be approximately 2 hours, for one way flight, it takes 30 minutes fly from Pokhara airport to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m). We start to view beautiful Pokhara city and lovely Fewa lake at the beginning of our flight and then we follow the beautiful terraces, rivers, villages small valleys and mountains to reach Annapurna Sanctuary. The world's highest Tilicho lake is our attraction during the flight. We spent 30 minutes around base camp and captured beautiful memories. The weather is unpredictable so we flew back to Pokhara as we reached there.
