The valley is covered with colossal magnificence of clean blue rivers and shimmering white fountains. The valley is magnum opus of hospitality and tourist destination which has plenty of sanctuaries and cloister dated back from an earlier time and the most superb creation at the city is Taktsang Monastery, Dzongdrakha Temple and Kila Gompa. The paro has number of museums which unfold the mystery of Bhutan. The Paro valley is unique design of wooden windows and paintings. In fact, the roads, buildings and the house of city show the skills of traditional architect in Asia.

Itinerary

One of the representatives of Pokalde adventure will receive you upon your arrival in the airport and will transfer you to the planned hotel. You will then be warmly welcomed with excellent dinner that offers you with authentic Nepalese cuisine rich in taste and culture.

After breakfast, tour can be begun with sightseeing world heritage sites within Kathmandu. Kathmandu is known for its rich art, culture and architecture. Malla dynasty ruled over the country from 12th to 18th century. While Pashupatinath is known to be the religious Hindu temple and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The Bouddhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupas in South Asia which is built on the ancient trade route to Tibet.

We fly from Kathmandu airport to Paro airport of Bhutan. We will witness Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga, holy peaks Jumolhari and Jichu Drake in splendid view. We will be welcomed at Paro and transferred to hotel by Pokalde Adventure tours & travel representative. Normally, we reach Paro for Lunch where we will experience Bhutanese culture and food. After lunch, we visit the Ta Dzong - National Museum, which contains the gallery embrace variety of ancient canvases, armors “arena of Buddha's”. After touring museum, we visit to the Drugyal Dzong Ruins (Bhutan Victory Fort), which was built in 1646 to commemorate Bhutan's victory over Tibetan invaders during the 1600s. In the evening you can stroll around town and experience the lifestyle of people and had dinner and sleep overnight in paro.

Bhutan is small Himalayan Kingdom in South Asia. Thimphu is the capital city of Bhutan which is main economic hub of country. We can experience blend of modernism and traditional life style in Thimphu. The cultural and traditional customs and higher degree of hospitality with variety of food makes it more interesting and magical tour in the lap of Himalaya. Thimpu is unique example for the cultural preservation even in ultra modern context is globally suppressing local culture and traditions. We start today’s tour by short and easy hiking from Thimpu to Cheri Monastery located in the northern side of town. The Cheri Dorji Dhen monastery was built by Shabdrung was the first ruler of Bhutan in 1620. The walk begins at Pangri Zampa gompa along the river and hike 2 hours where it is possible to visit Cheri courtyard and temples. To visit temple, permits is needed which will be arranged by us. Walk up to the bridge for 30 minutes after visiting temple and then return to Thimpu for Lunch. Stroll around Thimpu in the evening which is followed by dinner and Overnight at Hotel.

After breakfast, drive to Punakha and Wangdue for 3 hours and then drive go through Dochula Pass (3150m) with an outstanding view of the Eastern Himalayan mountain and Lunch at the hotel and small hike to Chimi Lhakhang, the temple of Lama Drukpa Kunley also commonly known as divine mad monk who is said to be Bhutan's beloved saints then the walk passes through paddy fields, meadows along with village from where temple is seen outside where it is said that the Drukpa Kunley sent a thunder to finish evil spirits and thereby visit continue to Wangdiphodrang Dzong which is a cliff around 13 km away from Punakha which was built by Dzong in 1638 A.D. Overnight at Hotel.

After breakfast morning walk to visit Khamsum Yuley, Namgyal Chorten and nearby villages and drive to north is followed by Mochu River for an hour, once arrival Climb 45 minutes to the base of the hill at Nazagang Lhakhang which was sanctified in December 1999 and holds holy relics donated by Punakha Dzong the round trip is of 4-5 hours and at afternoon one will visit Punakha Dzong which is located at union of the Mo (Mother) and Pho (Father) rivers which is the large temples that provides excellent views and it is built at 1637, once the sight-seen over back to hotel

We drive to Paro from Punakha in the early morning. The distance is 135km from Punakha to Paro which needs 4 hours drive that crosses the Dochu La Pass (3100m), and passing Simtokha village and dzong. In the afternoon, we visit Paro valley along with national museum, Paro Dzong (monastery/fortress) and Drugyel Dzong, which has a huge historical importance. The place offers splendid view of Mount Chomolhari, "Mountain of Goddess" and the visit is followed by Kyichu Lhakhang which is a typical Bhutanese farm house and Overnight at hotel.

Hike to (Tiger’s Nest) Monastery, (Bhutan’s most renowned monastery.) which is completely magnificent, located at 10,400 feet and the guru perched at edge of a sharp cliff about 3,000 feet above the Paro Valley where Guru Rinpoche winged on tigress to meditate. Here lunch is managed in cafeteria situated around middle of the peak and after exploring tigers nest once can mediate within the left over time and lastly back to hotel.

After breakfast we drive to airport for international flight. You fly to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel and take rest.
