Pokhara is a popular destination and is the second most visited city after Kathmandu in Nepal. This destination is probably known for its tranquil atmosphere, beautiful countryside, and lovely Phewa Lake on whose shores the famous city lies. The three mountains among the top ten mountains also can be seen while visiting Pokhara i.e. Annapurna, Manasalu, and Dhaulagiri. Likewise, the magnificent summit of Machhapuchre with its pointed peak has been determined to be the icon of the city. As there has been rapid growth in trekking in Nepal in the present context, the city has developed many popular and interesting sightseeing opportunities for trekkers such as World Peace Pagoda, Sarangkot sunrise view, etc. The lakeside near Phewa Lake is filled with hotels, exquisite restaurants, and bars for visitors. Besides this, there are numerous shops and vendors. On the southern side of the Phewa Lake lies a world peace pagoda from where a spectacular view of the Annapurna Himalayan range can be viewed.

During this tour, visitors not only just visit the lakeside and view mountains but also are taken to various popular temples and museums such as Tal Barahi temple, Bindhyabasini temple, International Mountaineering Museum, etc. The visitors are also taken to enjoy the breathtaking views of surroundings such as Mahendra cave, the famous Davis Fall, Bat cave, etc during their trip. Pokhara city tour covers 

Gupteshswor cave:  This is one of the most popular caves located close to Davis Falls and is dedicated to lord Shiva.  The main cave contains two chambers with several shrines located throughout the cave. Within the dark cave, we will see several statues and shrines dedicated to lord Shiva and other Hindu deities. 

Davis Fall: It covers almost an area of 500-meter length and 30-meter depth. It is locally known as Patale Chhango and the most attractive months for sightseeing are June, July, August, and September.

Barahi Temple: This is a famous monument located at the Centre of Fewa Lake in Pokhara. Visitors must ride on a boat to reach to this two-storied pagoda-style Hindu temple. Devotees can be seen especially on Saturday carrying animals and fowls for sacrificing it to the deity.

Phewa Lake: It is the second largest lake in Nepal and a major tourist attraction site in Pokhara. It is considered to be a famous spot for recreational activities like kayaking, boating, etc. Visitors can stay at hotels, and enjoy exquisite restaurants and bars located near its bank. The splendid view of Machhapuchhare is dazzling from the lake.

Sarangkot Sunrise: Sarangkot is one of the most popular tourist destinations from where any visitors can enjoy the great view of Pokhara Valley and the magnificent view of the mountains. Sarangkot is the highest viewpoint for sunrise and is about 1592m high. This destination can be reached easily by 45 min car ride to the top from Pokhara and then 45 min hike up to the main viewpoint. These days, Annapurna cable car takes you there within 10 minutes of cable car riding. You can enjoy magnificent views of Pokhara Valley while going to Sarangkot through cable car.
