Pilgrims were regularly attracted from Buddha’s birthplace– Lumbini and Hindu’s sacred temple Pashupatinath. The Hindu temple such as Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, Swoyambhunath, etc. provides cultural insights to the visitors. While the Buddhist followers visit the birthplace of Gautam Buddha at least once in their lifetime. Likewise, Muktinath temple is believed to be followed by both Hindus and Buddhists where taking baths in 108 sacred water washes all sins of one’s life. Day 01

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu airport, one of our office representatives assist you in transferring to the designated hotel. Stroll around Thamel- a touristic hub.

Day 02

Day 2: Kathmandu City Pilgrimage Sightseeing

We start our tour from the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bouddhanath Stupa. Bouddhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world, stands as a majestic symbol of Buddhist spirituality and heritage in Nepal. The popular heritage site is located in the east north of Kathmandu Valley. The premises are decorated with colorful prayer flags where you can experience inner peace and tranquility. You can observe and explore the Tibetan Buddhist culture. Pilgrims circumambulate the stupa’s base spinning prayer wheels and chanting mantras. After the spiritual vibes of Bouddhanath, we will drive to Pashupatinath temple. Pashupatinath temple is a sacred Hindu temple that is popular among Hindus throughout the world. The spiritual vibes around the Temple can be experienced as soon as you reach there. The major attraction to Europeans in Pashupatinath temple is cremation at Arya Ghat. After the spiritual tour of these heritage sites, we drive to Kathmandu Durbar Square. We will have lunch around Durbar Square. After lunch, we will visit Kumari Temple, Kasthamandap, Kaal Bhairav, Museum, and many other monuments around Durbar Square. In the afternoon, we will visit another Heritage site Swoyambhunath (Monkey Temple), and complete the city tour for today.

Day 03

Day 3: Drive to Manakamana Temple, Dev Ghat.

Early morning wake-up and we will drive to Kurintar to go to Manakamana temple via Manakamana cable car. Explore the premises of Manakamana temple. pay homage to goddess Manakamana mai, Then descend to the Cable car station to go to Dev Ghat. You will also have an insight into three Holi rivers Kali Gandaki, Seti Gandaki, and Trishuli river. Once you are done exploring the religious site, you will be back in Kathmandu again. An overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04

Day 4: Bhaktapur City Sightseeing

We will visit the oldest temple of Changunarayan today as we finish our breakfast. We will be driven to Changunarayan Temple. You will know that the temple here is built in a pagoda style and is dedicated to lord Vishnu. The cultural and religious importance can be observed during festivals like Haribodhhani Ekadashi and many other local festivals and jatra. The architecture and historical evidence make it clear that Changunarayan is one of the oldest Lord Bishnu temples in Nepal. After the Changunarayan visit, we go for the Bhaktapur Durbar Square visit where you will witness the live art and craft, tradition and customs, legendary temple, and Durbar Square which is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. After Changunarayan and Durbar Square, you can head to Doleshwor Mahadev and Sanga Mahadev which are around Bhaktapur. Back to Kathmandu, stroll around Thamel, and take a rest.

Day 05

Day 5: Departure

One of our office representatives will assist you to transfer to airport three hours before your schedule flights.
