Nepal Photography Tour - Guests in Bouddhanath

Nepal is a Himalayan country with a small plain region(terai) along its southern border with India. It possesses multiple climatic zones, cultural variations, and stunning landscapes of the hills in a small territory. Nepal is incredible, which is ideal for a Photography tour. The rich cultural heritage of Kathmandu Valley, wildlife in National parks, and Himalayan mountainscapes are breathtaking shots for photography.  The seven-night, eight-day photography tour provides an immense opportunity to capture the multi-dimensions of Nepali society.  The photography tour is suitable during spring, summer, and autumn when the biggest festivals of Nepal occur. The Holi festival, Biska, Gaijatra, Indra Jatra, Dashain, and Tihar are main festivals during these seasons.

Day 01

Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu Airport, and transfer to the hotel

Upon your arrival at the premises of TIA, Kathmandu, we will meet and greet you and assist you in transferring to the designated hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02

Day 2: Drive to Pokhara, capturing wonderful landscapes along the Prithvi Highway

After breakfast, we will use our private jeep to Pokhara. We drive through the Prithvi highway following the Trisuli River up to Mugling. We halt at the confluence of the Trisuli and Marsyandi rivers to have lunch there. We can capture a few snaps during lunch. Check into the hotel and stroll lakeside in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03

Day 3: Explore Pokhara for Photography

After breakfast, we go to the World Peace Stupa and then Pumdikot. Take a few minutes to observe the splendid views of the Himalayas and a mighty Phewa Lake. Capture the moment in your camera reel and drive to Chhore Patan, and quickly observe the interesting waterfall popularly known as Davis Fall, and then Gupteswor cave. You can have several opportunities to capture the moments with your camera. Lunch around Lakesides and take a rest for an hour. In the evening, boating on the Phewa Lake. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04

Day 4: Explore Pokhara City, continue Photography

We wake up early in the morning and drive to Pame to reach the Annapurna Cable car station. Enjoy a short cable car ride to reach the top of Sarangkot Hill.  You will have a wonderful opportunity to capture the stunning moment of sunrise over the Himalayas. For adventure lovers, paragliding and Zip ride are available at Sarangkot. Back to the hotel and have a delicious breakfast. Get ready to drive to the Begnas Lake. We will follow a countryside road for this ride and can observe country life and experience the natural beauty. We will have a boating in the Begnas Lake and lunch over there. While returning to the hotel, you can explore the Seti gorge, the Mountain Museum. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 05

Day 5: Drive to Nagarkot via Kathmandu

We drive from Pokhara early in the morning following the Prithvi Highway. Drive to Bhaktapur city for a guided tour. First, we will have lunch around Bhaktapur Durbar Square and then we will visit several monuments, the courtyard, Pottery square, the Durbar Museum, and will not miss tasting Juju Dhau.  While in Bhaktapur, you will not miss a single monument to capture in your camera. We drive for an hour to reach Nagarkot hill, and enjoy the panoramic views of the mountains, including Mount Everest. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06

Day 6: Nagarkot Sunrise view, Sankhu, Bouddha, and Pashupatinath temple tour, Overnight at Kathmandu

We will have a fantastic sunrise view from our room balcony. We cherish the moment and capture it in our camera roll. After breakfast, we drive to Sankhu, an ancient Newari town preserving its traditions and customs.  We visit a few temples and the streets of Sankhu before driving to Bouddhanath. We circumambulate the stupa and visit the nearby monastery. After lunch, we drive to the Pashupatinath temple. The greatest temple of Hindus, which is located on the bank of the Bagmati River and is significant in Nepal as a holy place. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 07

Day 7: Cultural and Street Photography

Early morning, we go to Swoyambhunath to observe the sunrise over the city, and we capture those precious moments. After breakfastyou can capture the most surprising and amazing photos in the streets of Kathmandu. We will visit on foot around Thamel, Ason, Indrachwok, Itumbahal, and finally Kathmandu Durbar Square for live photography of different activities and of temples, and courtyards. Join a farewell dinner in the evening. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 08

Day 8: Departure

Relax and enjoy the morning with a delicious breakfast. After breakfast, you can go shopping and do a short city tour around Thamel, if you wish. In the late afternoon, one of our office representatives will assist you in transferring to the international airport three hours before your scheduled flight.
