Culturally and historically important Dahachwok is an important place for anyone for a day hike. It is situated at an altitude of 1600 meters about 10km away from Kathmandu and is a popular destination for any visitors to have magnificent views. Sightseeing, jungle safari, hiking, and picnics are the activities that can be done here. There is also a park constructed around the cemetery of King Prithvi Narayan Shah which is not to be missed while visiting here. There is also a replica of the Manakamana temple that is dedicated to the goddess Bhagwati. Indra Daha is a popular religious pond where it is believed that the god Indra took a bath to get rid of the curse of Gautam Rishi for his infidelity. The main attraction is Switzerland Park, where every weekend people go for a picnic. Bhimdhunga is the last point of Nagarjun Municipality. The one-day hiking tour covers different cultures and traditions. Mainly, we see Tamangs, Chhatris, and Brahmins in this area.
