Muktinath Helicopter Tour

Located at an altitude of 3710 meters at the foot of the Himalayas is Muktinath. It is located 48km northeast of Jomsom. Muktinath is known to be a sacred place for both Hindus and Buddhists. A helicopter tour is offered for those who have some physical difficulties going by vehicle and have limited time to stay in Nepal. Muktinath lies 3710 meters above sea level in Mustang district and is known to be Mukti Chhettra. During this tour, you will be taken to a small pagoda temple known as lord god Vishnu which is worshipped by both Hindus and Buddhists. There are 108 water sprouts spread following cold icy waters for prayers who desire to take a quick bath for their benefit. There is also a temple named Jwala mai or the goddess of flame with a phenomenal underground blue flame.
