It is a piece of heaven on earth where any visitors can see Snowy Mountain amidst a splendid garden embedded with stupas and monasteries. Lumbini Grove was described as a beautiful garden in Buddha’s time and still retains its legendary charm and beauty. Several temples including the Mayadevi temple are located in Lumbini. Many monuments, monasteries, and museums i.e. Lumbini International Research Institute located within this holy site.

Day 01

Day 01: Fly from Kathmandu Airport to Bhairahawa

Transfer to the domestic terminal of TIA, to fly to Bhairahawa. Only 35 minutes fly to take you to the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Then we drive to Lumbini in a private vehicle. Our tour guide will lead you to a half-day tour of religious Buddhist monasteries, monuments, etc. Monasteries such as Cambodian monasteries, royal Thai Buddhist monasteries, Zhong Hua, Chinese Buddhist monasteries, etc. are popular destinations for tourists within Lumbini. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02

Day 02: Full-day Lumbini sightseeing

We will visit Tilaurakot, Kotihawa, and Niglihawa and back to Lumbini Mayadevi temple. After lunch, we will visit the Mayadevi temple, Myanmar Golden Temple, etc. could be other major attraction sites. The tour can start with visiting Mayadevi temple which is a 10 to 15-minute walk on foot and 5 minutes on a rickshaw drive. Then the visitor can move on to the Ashoka pillar that is located within Lumbini garden and to its south lies a holy lake where the mother of Buddha took a ritual dip before his birth. Again an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03

Day 03: Fly back to Kathmandu

Leave the hotel after breakfast for the airport to fly to Kathmandu for the scheduled flight.
