Listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Patan Durbar Square is rich in ancient arts and architecture. Contrarily, Bungamati lies 12km south of Kathmandu and 6km south of Patan. People live traditionally, and this place is the summer home of Rato Machhindranath. Khokana is famous for its mustard oil seed and its functional and cottage industrial heritage. In the evening, visit Swoyambhunath temple. Swayambhunath Temple is popular among foreigners as the Monkey Temple owing to the large monkey population residing in the area. The arch-formed white-washed Stupa is made out of block and earth supporting an elevated tapered tower topped by a zenith of copper overlaid. The infinitely knowledgeable eyes of Lord Buddha lay on every one of the four sides of the tapered base. This slope is a mosaic of little Chaityas and Pagoda and is the most imperative Buddhist site in Nepal.
