Kathmandu is a beautiful city, surrounded by hills. The short and easy hiking around the rim of Kathmandu Valley covers beautiful villages of the Tamang community and mixed communities of Brahmin, Kshetri, and other indigenous groups. We will hike enjoying the natural beauty of Shivapuri National Park along with the unique villages of Tamang. This short multi-day hike covers the Tamang traditions and culture in the lap of hills. While passing through Kakani to Shivapuri, we follow the traditional trade route to Tibet. On the way from Shivapuri to Sundarijal, we will encounter several waterfalls and a small pond inside the jungle. During Spring, you will witness the blooming of Rhododendron. This is ideal hiking for those who have limited time and budget for long adventure trekking.

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, one of our office representatives greet you and assist you in transferring to the hotel. Rest and relax.
Day 02Day 2: Drive from Thamel to Kakani and Hike to Shivapuri, Surya Chaur

After breakfast, we drive north of Kathmandu to reach a small hill station town- Kakani. We will enjoy the Panoramic views of the Himalayas before starting to hiking adventure to Shivapuri. Shivapuri Hill is known for its water resources and lush forests. Tonight, we will stay around Suryachaur. Enjoy the nature and calmness of Shivapuri.
Day 03Day 3: Hike from Shivapuri to Bagdwar to Sundarijal

We will have a beautiful morning walk around the monastery. After breakfast, we will start to hike through Bagdwar which has higher significance among Nepali as it is the source of the sacred Bagmati river. We continue to hike through dense forests, watersheds, and waterfalls up to Sundarijal which is the entry point of Shivapuri National Park. We will have lunch at Sundarijal. We drive back to Thamel. Rest and relax. Evening Farewell Dinner followed by Nepali cultural show.
