Ghorepani Poon Hill lies 3210 meters high above sea level and is probably the best trekking tour which provides magnificent panoramic mountain views and warm hospitality. This tour is best known for the views from Poon Hill. The phenomenal sunrise view from Poon Hill is not to be missed while journey. During this tour, visitors will not only witness the beautiful warm villages, terrace slopes, and paddy field but also will learn about the wonderful culture and lifestyle of ethnic Gurungs and Magars in Ghorepani and Ghandruk which are their largest settlements in Annapurna region.

This tour can be started off either from Kathmandu or Pokhara and visitors gets an opportunity for sightseeing Tadapani, Nayapool, and Ghandruk during their trip before Ghorepani Poon Hill.

Day 01

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

One of our representatives will assist you to transfer to the hotel. Evening, Enjoy the welcome dinner as well as a briefing on the socio-culture of Nepal and the tour area.

Day 02

Day 02: Drive to Pokhara

Early morning, we drive to Pokhara and it takes 6 hours’ drive to reach Pokhara. Enjoy the terraces, and mountain views during the drive to Pokhara. After checking in to the hotel, we go for lakeside walking to see Phewa Lake and the mighty peak Machhapuchhare shadow in the lake. Enjoy an evening in Pokhara and have dinner in the hotel.

Day 03

Day 03: Pokhara-Ulleri via Nayapool

We will cover a 42km distance from Prithvi Chowk and cross beautiful Lumle village to Nayapool (1050m). it starts from Nayapool. Following Modi River, we will walk past a forest of blooming rhododendrons and cross a small stream. We then take a jeep to reach Ulleri (2070m) from Tikhedhunga.

It is recommended to carry sleeping bags, trekking poles, chocolate and other foods, flashlights, sun protection products, thick fleece lining and jackets at night, thermos, and waterproof walking shoes. Overnight stay at guest house.

Day 04

Day 04: Ulleri- Ghorepani

We will cross the Magar village of Banthanti from where we can get spectacular views of Machhapuchhare Mountain (6997m), Hiunchuli Mountain (6441m), and Annapurna South Mountain (7219m). We will cross the small river and climb to Nangethanti. We will arrive at Ghorepani from where we can get soaring views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Annapurna I, and other mountains.

Ghorepani is the most exciting place on this mountain because it is the ornamental fishtail peak, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri over 8000 meters. The observation deck of the peak. Arrive in Ghorepani in the afternoon, stay in the inn, take a hot bath, then sip a cup of fragrant coffee next to the fire and watch the snow-capped mountains. Here is the essence of the route, so the top of the mountain always gathers friends from all over the world, marvels, takes photos, and takes photos.

Day 05

Day 05: Ghorepani to Poonhill (3180m) and via Tadapani (2675m) to Ghandruk

Poonhill is popular for the best sunrise view in Pokhara. We will rise very early and reach the base of Poonhill. About an hour of the climb will take us to Poonhill viewpoint. We can get sunrise view over Dhaulagiri Mountain (8167m), Annapurna I Mountain (8091m), Annapurna II Mountain (7937m), Annapurna III Mountain (7855m), Annapurna IV Mountain (7525m), Annapurna South Mountain (729m), Nilgiri Mountain (6940m), Tukuche Mountain (6920m), Varaha Shikhar (7847m), Lamjung Himal (6931m) and other mountains. We will return to the hotel in Ghorepani for breakfast and then take the descending trail to Tadapani village from where we can get views of Annapurna South, Annapurna II, Fishtail, and other mountains and have lunch there. Then Tadapani to Ghandruk.  3hrs of easy walks through a forest of oak, rhododendron, and other alpine flowers will take you to Ghandruk. Ghandruk is the large Gurung village. We can get striking views of Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Machhapuchhare, Annapurna III, Hiunchuli, and other Mountains from the viewpoint of Ghandruk. Homestay in Ghandruk is a pleasant experience. We will be welcomed by the locals with Khada and traditional dance will be performed in the evening in our honor.

 

Day 06

Day 06: Trek from Ghandruk to Nayapool) which takes 4 hours and then drive to Pokhara (910m) and overnight stay at a Hotel.

From Ghandruk we can drive to Nayapool by local bus or walk for 3 hours. Arrive at Nayapool at noon. After lunch, take the shuttle bus back to Pokhara. The mountain guide completes the work and bids farewell to you. Enjoy dinner at the lakeside and deliberately stroll along the lake after dinner.

Day 07

Day 07: Drive back to Kathmandu

We will back to Kathmandu after visiting Davis Fall and Gupteswor cave on the way to Kathmandu. We will have lunch around 2:00 p.m. near Muglin. Reach Kathmandu as possible as possible and enjoy shopping around Thamel.

Day 08

Day 08: Departure

Finally, you are transferred to the airport for boarding before 2-3 hours before your flight.
