The breathtaking views of Annapurna South, Hiuchulli, and Machhapuchhare Himal are major attractions of this village. Visitors can learn about Gurung traditions and culture during their stay in Ghandruk village. The stone paved trails, traditional slated roofed houses, Gurung Museum, and natural beauty attract visitors throughout the world to this village. Ghandruk is also a gateway for trekking to the Annapurna region. Trekkers can relax and take a rest after the completion of trekking at Ghandruk. The hiking trail to Landruk village passes through rice fields, lush forests, and a suspension bridge over Modi Khola. Landruk is comparatively less crowded and tranquil and suitable for those who would like to spend their time in peaceful and charming surroundings. People are engaged in farming and traditional crafts. The third day of our tour starts from Landruk and ends at Pokhara Lakesides. After breakfast, we start walking via Pothana village, a small Gurung settlement at an altitude of 1890 meters, which is a checkpoint for different trekking around the Annapurna region. Pothana is a resting point to have tea or coffee while enjoying the breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. From Pothana, we descend to Kandhe to reach the highway to Pokhara and complete the Ghandruk village tour. The popular destination after Kathmandu is Pokhara City for spending holidays and retreats. Pokhara is known as the “city of Lakes,” where people enjoy observing Phewa Lake and strolling around Lakesides. Enjoy the vibrate of lakesides by exploring restaurants, clubs, and cafes. The Ghandruk village tour combines natural beauty, peaceful retreats, and wonderful cultural experiences.
