Cultural Immersion and Volunteering Tour

15 Days

Cultural Immersion and Volunteering Tour

Pokalde Adventure organizes a volunteering tour for enthusiastic travelers who wish to learn Nepali cultural traits and contribute during their travels. We offer cultural immersion, community service, community school teaching, and an agro volunteering tour. We have a small initiative of volunteering during our tour program. Every year, we organize educational tours to different parts of the country, and we design community work and interactive learning. The volunteering tour is normally designed for 15 days, with the tour and volunteering organized separately.

Nepal is a multi-cultural, multilingual country with a diverse socio-economic structure. Nepal is ideal for research and educational tours too. In different regions, we have several communities and their cultural traits too. We organize a short hiking trip including a heritage and jungle safari tour. The cultural and natural amphitheater will broaden students’ knowledge of our rural communities and their traditions, occupations, attire, dietary habits, and many other hidden aspects of society.  The first week is dedicated to the adventure and cultural tour in Nepal. The orientation and volunteering placement are done after the tour completes. Volunteering will take place at a community school, an orphanage, and a disability support center. We will place enthusiastic volunteers based on their interests and priorities.

  • Engage in community service through teaching in local schools, supporting childcare centers, and assisting disability support initiatives.
  • Experience the rich traditions of a multicultural and multilingual society, interacting closely with local communities.
  • Ideal for students and researchers to explore Nepal’s diverse socio-economic structures, traditions, and rural lifestyles.
  • Contribute to education by teaching English, creative skills, and engaging in interactive learning with students.
  • Participate in agro-based volunteering and learn traditional farming practices and village life.
  • Unique blend of travel and service, including short hiking trips, heritage tours, and jungle safari experiences.
  • Gain insight into the traditional lifestyles, occupations, attire, food habits, and social structures of Nepalese villages.
  • Volunteers are placed based on their interests, skills, and priorities for maximum impact and learning.
