Chandragiri Hill Hiking Tour is a nearby hiking route from Kathmandu City. At present, we have options of using a cable car to reach the hilltop without hiking from the Thankot hiking spot. The hiking point is located on the southwestern side of the Kathmandu Valley. The hiking takes about four hours to reach the hilltop. The Chandragiri Hill offers breathtaking views of mighty mountains, including Everest, Langtang, Ganesh Himal, and Manaslu. The elevation of Chandragiri Hill is 2540 meters, where you will observe the iconic temple of lord Shiva, known as Bhaleshwor Mahadev. Enjoy the serene beauty of the Himalayas and Kathmandu Valley from the hilltop.

Drive from Kathmandu to Thankot for an hour to reach the hiking point. The uphill hike takes three to four hours to reach the summit. Take a short break to observe the Kathmandu Valley and the Himalayan range. Enjoy lunch at the resort with Panoramic views of the Mountains. Relax and visit the Bhaleshwor temple. Observe the sunset from the hilltop. Overnight at the resort.

Day 2: Enjoy the spectacular sunrise over the Himalayas. Breakfast at the resort and explore the surroundings. Walk up to the cable car station and enjoy the cable car to reach the ground station. Drive to Kathmandu and have a delicious lunch at Thamel. Complete the tour and depart for the next destination.
