Pokalde Adventure has been organizing an educational tour for students of school and college level. The tour is structured to make students aware of diverse cultures, traditions, and village life. During an educational tour, the cultural immersion and historical enlightenment program assist students in understanding the socio-economic part of society. We begin our tour by visiting the hilly antique Newari village of Bandipur Hill. We will explore well-preserved Newari architecture and Bandipur town. We complete the Bandipur exploration and drive to Gorkha Bazar. Gorkha has significance in Nepalese history and politics. The rise of the Shah Dynasty and the process of Nepal unification started in Gorkha under King Prithvi Narayan Shah. Gorkha Durbar and the museum opens the eyes of students about Modern Nepalese history. On the third day, students will have an opportunity to explore villages, the orange garden, local food, and a short half-day hiking to Manakamana temple. Students can enjoy the majestic views of the mighty Manaslu and other significant mountains during hiking. The tour is comprised of beads in a thread of history, culture, and nature with a milestone of learning and understanding Nepalese diverse society.

In the morning, we start our tour from the school premises, following Tribhuwan Highway up to Naubise, and Prithvi Highway up to Dumre, Tanahu. We will have lunch at Motel Du Mugling. In the afternoon, we will reach Bandipur goat farm and will halt for briefing about goat farming. We will be welcomed in Bandipur village and check in to the hotel/resort. We will have a cultural program in the evening followed by dinner.

We will visit Bandipur town along with temples and viewpoints before breakfast. The antique doors and windows of Bandipur town reflect the Newari architecture which is similar to Kathmandu Valley. We will visit Bhairav Temple and Maisthan Temple along with viewpoints. We will see the horizontal range of Mountains in the Northern direction. Drive to Gorkha Bazar, and explore the Gorkha Durbar Museum. A short briefing about Gorkha Durbar, Gorkha Museum, and historical significance of Gorkha district.

Today, we will visit the orange farm at Tin Mane. Tin Mane is a beautiful village of Magars known for their bravery. We will have lunch at Tin Mane after an orange garden visit. We then start to walk for 3 and a half hours to reach Manakamana temple. The spiritual vibes and significance of the temple will be shortly briefed. Enjoy the cable car to reach Kurintar, and drive to the resort nearby Trisuli River. Review session followed by dinner in a resort. A musical fire camp for student’s refreshments.

Finally, the three nights four days educational tour activities have concluded. We are traveling to Kathmandu after breakfast in the hotel.
