Bandipur with Students

The Nepal cultural tour blends heritage, traditions, festivals, adventures, and religious sites during this five-night and six-day journey. We start our journey with a Kathmandu City tour, including UNESCO World Heritage sites, and a traditional market in the streets of Kathmandu. We will taste Nepali food in an authentic Nepali restaurant, followed by a Nepali cultural show. The next day, we drive to Pokhara following the Prithvi Highway. We will have lunch around Mugling Bazar of Chitwan district at the confluence of the Trishuli and Marsyandi rivers. We will visit Davis Fall and Gupteswor Cave before checking into the hotel. In the evening, we stroll around Phewa Lake and can enjoy an hour-long boating trip. We will drive to Jomsom following the Baglung Beni highway to Beni Bazar. Then, we follow the Kali Gandaki corridor to reach Jomsom, the headquarters of Mustang district. We will have lunch at Jomsom Bazar and explore the Muktinath temple and Kagbeni. We may stay around Kagbeni or return to Jomsom for a night halt. Early morning, we drive to Pokhara and have lunch around Naudanda on the way to Pokhara. The next destination is Bandipur village, known as the “Queen of Hills,” where we will reach in the late afternoon. Walk around Bandipur bazar, a small Newari town in the hills. Tonight, stay at a resort, a homestay, or a hotel. We will have a stunning sunrise view in Bandipur over the Himalayan range. The magnificent Himalayan range includes Manaslu to Dhaulagiri Himalaya, which will be memorable for a lifetime. After breakfast, we will drive to Kathmandu and will reach around lunchtime. We will have a few sightseeing tours in Kathmandu before we join a farewell dinner in Thamel. The experience sharing of the tour is followed by a delicious dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 01

Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu Airport, and transfer to the hotel.

Upon your arrival at the TIA premises in Kathmandu, we will assist you in transferring to the designated hotel.   When you arrive at the hotel, we will schedule a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu based on time availability. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02

Day 2: Drive to Pokhara City via Prithvi Highway

We drive through the Prithvi highway following the Trisuli River up to Mugling. We halt at the confluence of the Trisuli and Marsyandi rivers to have lunch there. Check into the hotel and stroll lakeside in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03

Day 3: Drive to Jomsom Muktinath

After breakfast in Pokhara, you will begin your journey to Muktinath by Jeep. The drive will take you through scenic landscapes as you make your way towards the sacred pilgrimage site.

Upon arrival in Jomsom, you will embark on a drive to Muktinath Temple, one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in Nepal. Muktinath is a sacred place for both Hindus and Buddhists, and it is believed that visiting this temple grants liberation from the cycle of birth and death.

You will have the opportunity to explore the temple complex, offer prayers, and witness the religious rituals performed by devotees. The temple houses a sacred natural spring and 108 water spouts, which are believed to represent the holy waters.

After the darshan (religious rituals) at Muktinath Temple, you will return to Jomsom via Kagbeni, a charming town situated in the Kali Gandaki River valley. Jomsom is known for its unique landscape and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

Day 04

Day 4: Drive to Bandipur via Pokhara

After breakfast in Jomsom, you will embark on a scenic drive from Jomsom to Pokhara. The drive will take you through beautiful landscapes as you make your way back to the lakeside city of Pokhara. Pokhara is renowned for its stunning natural beauty and serene lakes. Upon reaching Pokhara, you will have lunch, and then we continue our drive to Bandipur village following Prithvi Highway. Banidipur is a small Newari village located in the hills of Tanahu district in Gandaki province, and known as the queen of the hills.

Day 05

Day 5: Drive to Kathmandu and explore UNESCO World Heritage sites

Early morning breakfast, and we drive to Kathmandu following the Prithvi Highway. We directly visit the Swoyambhunath Stupa, and then go to the hotel. We refresh and get ready for lunch around Thamel. After Lunch, we visit Kathmandu Durbar Square and the streets of Kathmandu. While walking in the street, we may explore the traditional marketplace of Kathmandu- Ason and Indrachok. The living goddess “Kumari” and her temple, the Basantapur nine-story palace, which is now a museum, and other surrounding monuments will be observed. You can prepare for Kathmandu street photography at the Durbar Square and its surroundings. In the evening, join a farewell dinner and stroll around Thamel to buy souvenirs, and overnight at the hotel.

Day 06

Day 06:Departure

After breakfast, one of our office representatives will assist you in transferring to the international airport three hours before your scheduled flight.
