Everest Base Camp Trek 13 Nights 14 Days

14 Days

The Everest Base Camp trek is one of the world’s most popular adventure trails, located in Nepal’s Solukhumbu district. The trek is typically one month long in the 70s and late 80s. The cultural uniqueness of this region belongs to the Sherpa community. The Tibetan influence on cultural practices and their way of life reflects the Tibetan tradition. The wonderful setting of Sherpa villages in the Khumbu region is an ideal place to learn their culture and tradition. The warm hospitality of the Sherpa community makes this adventure memorable for a lifetime. EBC trek can be planned in two ways, one is the Everest classical trek, which starts from Jiri, a small town in the Dolakha district, and the second is from Lukla, an airstrip which connects Kathmandu directly with a 20-minute flight. Due to high traffic in the Kathmandu airport, during the spring and autumn seasons, Ramechhap airport is used to fly to Lukla these days.

Everest Base Camp trek is a wonderful experience of a world-class trekking trail, Sherpa culture, beautiful snow-capped mountains, amazing landscapes, and the rare snow leopard’s residence. Trekking in the Everest region includes a very few treks that ultimately lead to the Base camp. The popular Three Passes trek, Gokyo Lake Trek, and the Everest Base Camp trek follow the same trail that we use for the EBC trek; the only difference is the length of the trek and the crossing of high passes. Renjo-La, Cho-La, and Kongma-La passes are considered a tough trekking experience, whereas the thrilling experience of the Khumbu Glacier and the spiritual vibes of the Tengboche monastery are beyond imagination. The shortest 12-day trek to the 22-day three high pass trek, all trek includes Everest Base Camp in their itinerary. The regular EBC trek itinerary is outlined as follows:

The splendid views of Mount Everest and other snow-capped peaks make us forget the tiredness of tough terrain.

Tengboche is situated at the confluence of the Dudh Koshi River and the Imja Khola. The spiritual center of Buddhism is influenced by the Tibetan practices of Buddhist philosophy and tradition. Kalapatthar is popular for its panoramic Everest, Nuptse, Chagatse, Lhotse, and Pumori view, among many other peaks. The hike to Kalapatthar is done early at dawn because the sight of the rising sun seen from the viewpoint is amazing.
